Ringenhain is a district of the municipality of Steinigtwolmsdorf in the Upper Lusatia region of Saxony. The village is characterized by 20 half-timbered houses, including the smallest half-timbered house in Upper Lusatia.
The village is located on the B 98 between Steinigtwolmsdorf and Neukirch/Lausitz and stretches on both sides of the stream Wesenitz, which springs from Valtenberg, flows through Ringenhain, Neukirch/Lausitz, and Bischofswerda, and empties into the Elbe at Heidenau. The Wesenitz River once formed the border between the Meissen and Lusatian sides of the village. Shortly after World War I, the division was removed. Today, colloquially, people speak of the "village" in the valley of the Wesenitz and the area of the "settlement" on the mountain near the forest.
