Höflein is a village in the district of Bautzen, in Saxony, Germany, which has belonged to the municipality of Räckelwitz since 1973. It has about 120 inhabitants and is part of the core settlement area of the Sorbs. The majority of the population speaks Sorbian as their mother tongue.
Höflein is the southernmost district of the municipality and is located west above the Klosterwasser valley at 163 metres above sea level on the Schmeckwitzer Bach. It belongs to the "Oberland" of the former monastery care of St. Marienstern. It borders the following municipalities: Räckelwitz to the northeast, Caseritz to the southeast, Kuckau to the south, and Schmeckwitz to the northwest. The surrounding area slopes eastwards towards the monastery water, while west of Höflein it rises to 191 metres. The community is located 18 kilometres northwest of the district town of Bautzen and ten kilometres east of Kamenz.
