Jänickendorf is a district of the municipality of Steinhöfel in the Oder-Spree district in the state of Brandenburg.
The district is located north of the municipal center and borders to the north on the Maxsee lake of the town of Müncheberg. Following in a clockwise direction are the other districts Schönfelde and Beerfelde, the district of Trebus towards Fürstenwalde/Spree, as well as the two districts Hangelsberg and Kienbaum, which each belong to the municipality of Grünheide. The northern and southeastern parts of the land parcel are forested; the remaining areas are primarily used for agriculture. The village green is located roughly in the center of the land parcel and extends in an east-west direction.
