The Buckowseerinne Nature Reserve is located in the area of the municipality of Schorfheide in the Barnim district of Brandenburg. It is part of the 1,291 km² large Schorfheide-Chorin Biosphere Reserve.
The area with the identification number 1450 was placed under nature protection by regulation on May 24, 2004. The 511 ha large nature reserve with the Great Buckow Lake extends northwest of the core city of Eberswalde. The A 11 runs along the western edge, the state road L 238 runs through the area, and the L 23 is located to the east. To the southwest lies the 73.5 ha large Üdersee and to the northwest the 765 ha large Werbellinsee.
