Bärenklau is a town in the district of Oberhavel, Brandenburg with 1,500 inhabitants. The first documented mention of Bärenklau occurred as "Berenklawe" in the year 1350. The Remontedepot Bärenklau and the village church are characteristic of the town's appearance. Since 2001, Bärenklau has been part of the municipality of Oberkrämer.
Location: Bärenklau is located in the southwest of the Oberhavel district on the edge of the Ländchen Glien, below the Schwantener Heide as a large, contiguous forest area.
