Kammerode is a residential area in the district of Ferch of the municipality of Schwielowsee in the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark. The village, which originated during the German eastward settlement around 1200, became deserted by the end of the 14th century. By 1542, a sheep farm had reappeared on the deserted field. Around 1730, an estate was established in place of the sheep farm. By 1800, it had developed into a smallholders' establishment with 16 houses, which further evolved into the current residential area. Kammerode was already incorporated into Ferch in 1928.
Kammerode is located about 2.5 km northwest of the town center of Ferch, about 3.5 km east-southeast of Bliesendorf, and about 4.5 km south-southwest of the town center of Glindow, approximately 2 km from the western shore of Schwielowsee. The town center is situated at 56 meters above sea level. The former district was merged with the district of Ferch. The area can be reached via the K6907 from Ferch or from a branch of the L 90.
