The Hereditary Princely Palace was a palace in Dessau, Saxony-Anhalt. It was located in Kavalierstraße. The palace was also known as the Hereditary Prince's Palace or Ducal Palace. It was a residence of the Dukes of Anhalt. Today, the grounds of the palace are home to the Dessau City Park.
Prince Leopold I of Anhalt-Dessau had a palace built for his son Prince Moritz in Kavalierstraße. It was completed in 1740, and Prince Moritz lived in the building until his death in 1760. Afterwards, the unmarried Prince Eugene, a Prussian major general and Saxon field marshal, lived there. In 1785, on the order of Prince Leopold III Friedrich Franz, a school moved into the building. Around 1880, the old palace was demolished, as the entire woodwork had become worm-eaten and infested with the sponge.
