The double lock Magdeburg Neustadt is an unfinished lock construction in the city of Magdeburg in Saxony-Anhalt.
East of the industrial port of Magdeburg and west of the Elbe, the lock structure is located in the lock canal between kilometres 1.8 and 2.2. The lock was built in connection with a planned Elbe barrage at the level of Herrenkrugpark. The barrage was planned to enable shipping over the Domfels and the Magdeburg city line even when the water level of the Elbe is low. Due to the Second World War and the subsequent abandonment of the plans, the construction of the barrage was never realized.
