Barendorf is a district of the town of Dassow in the district of Nordwestmecklenburg in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
The place is located seven kilometers north of Dassow. The Barendorf area extends to the Lübeck Bay in the north and has a beach and shore area on the Baltic Sea of under two kilometers. A contiguous area at the edges of the district in the west, north, and northeast belongs to the nature reserve coastal landscape between Priwall and Barendorf with Harkenbäkniederung. The small stream Harkenbäk forms much of the western boundary of the district. However, its mouth is located in the district of Rosenhagen.
