Wedelheine is a village and a former municipality in the municipality of Meine, in Lower Saxony, Germany. The village has about 850 inhabitants and is part of the joint municipality of Papenteich in the district of Gifhorn.
Wedelheine is located only a few kilometers north of the city of Braunschweig on the Lower Saxony L321 and the Mittelland Canal, which separates Wedelheine from Wedesbüttel. Wedelheine forms together with the villages of Abbesbüttel, Bechtsbüttel, Meine, Wedesbüttel, Grassel, Gravenhorst and Ohnhorst the municipality of Meine. The nearest medium-sized centres are Wolfsburg, Salzgitter, Wolfenbüttel, Gifhorn, Peine and Celle.
