Findlos is a village that has been part of Batten, a current district of the municipality of Hilders in the Fulda district of Hesse in the Rhön, since the 19th century.
Findlos is located at about 470 m above sea level southwest of Batten and northeast of Wickers, directly north of the federal highway B458, which merges into the federal highway B278 at Batten. The left-side tributary flowing downstream, the Brandbach, which flows east into the Ulster, passes under the B458 at Findlos. In clockwise direction, Hilders is located to the north, Batten to the east, Thaiden to the southeast, Wickers to the southwest, and the prominent Findloser Berg at 636 m above sea level surrounds the village to the west.
