The Evangelical Lutheran Church of St. Cecilia is located in Gehrenrode, a district of the town of Bad Gandersheim in the district of Northeim in Lower Saxony. The parish belongs to the Gandersheim-Seesen Provost's Office in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Braunschweig.
The core of the hall church was built in the 17th century. However, its appearance is determined by the renewal of 1753. The nave, supported by buttresses, is covered with a hipped gable roof. The church tower was covered in 1876 with a slate-roofed helmet with a Wichhäuschen.
