Atzenhausen is the southernmost district of the municipality of Rosdorf in the district of Göttingen in Lower Saxony. Atzenhausen has about 246 inhabitants.
Atzenhausen is situated at an elevation of 300 m above sea level in the Münden Nature Park. The border to Hesse runs south, 1 km away. Elevations in the area include the Hohe Schleife 1.5 km southwest, the Steinberg at 407 m above sea level 1.5 km northwest of the village, as well as Kreideberg to the south, Kellerberg to the southwest, Roter Berg immediately at the northern edge of the village, and Dettberg 1.2 km northeast of the village. Neighboring villages are Barlissen, located about 2 kilometers to the north, Dahlenrode to the northeast, Mollenfelde to the southeast, and Hedemünden, which is 4.5 km away to the southeast. The L 564 runs through the village.
