The Kurpfalz-Gymnasium Schriesheim is a state-run general education high school founded in 1973 with approximately 770 students. It is one of three schools in the school center in Schriesheim in the Rhein-Neckar district of Baden-Württemberg.
The construction of the first section of the Kurpfalz school center was completed in 1972. On September 3, 1973, classes for the first four grades of the gymnasium began in the building of the already completed secondary school. For the first year, Fillbrunn from the Carl-Benz-Gymnasium Ladenburg was brought in as the acting head. At the beginning of the 1974/75 school year, Emil Meixner was appointed as the school principal.
