Willingen station is a railway station in the municipality of Willingen, in Hesse, Germany. It lies on the Wabern–Brilon Wald railway, known in this area as the "Uplandbahn", not far from the Hessian/North Rhine-Westphalian state border.
In the spring of 1913, construction of the Upland Railway between Brilon, Wald and Korbach began on several sections. On 1 October of the following year, the Brilon Wald–Willingen section was opened to traffic. On April 1, 1917, the last stagecoach began its journey to leave the field to the railroad in the future. One day later, the almost 90-kilometre-long Wabern–Brilon Wald railway line was completely completed with the opening of the Usseln–Willingen section.
