Föckinghausen is a village and a former municipality in the Hochsauerlandkreis district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. In January 2020, Föckinghausen had 24 inhabitants. The village lies in the Arnsberg Forest at an altitude of 500 metres about 1 kilometre north of Bestwig.
In 1764, a farmhouse was built from a charcoal burners' settlement.
Tourism began in 1910 with the opening of a boarding house. Today there is a school camp and a hotel in the village. The Caritas association's holiday resort was closed in December 2008 and sold to Dutch investors at the end of 2009.
