Borgloh is a district of the municipality of Hilter am Teutoburger Wald in the Osnabrück district in Lower Saxony with 1,782 inhabitants. Borgloh has only been part of the municipality of Hilter since July 1, 1972, and was previously an independent municipality.
Borgloh was mentioned for the first time in a document from the second half of the 11th century as "Burcla". It dates back to the time of Benno II of Osnabrück as bishop, is not preserved in the original, but exists in copies from the 14th century.
