Schwartmecke is a village and a former municipality in the Hochsauerlandkreis district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
The village lies at an altitude of 467 m above sea level and about one kilometre southwest of Cobbenrode. The district with 13 inhabitants is located directly at the highest point of the B 55 between Cobbenrode and Oedingen. West of Schwartmecke, the Elspebach rises as Schwartmecke at an altitude of 439 m above sea level. The villages of Cobbenrode, Leckmart, Oedingen and Obermarpe border Schwartmecke.
