Wolbeck is a district of the city of Münster in the southern-eastern district. It is situated in a rural area in the southeast of the city between the rivers Werse and Angel.
Wolbeck, or Walbeke, was mentioned for the first time in documents in 1185. The name literally means settlement at the forest stream.
