Steinbeck in Westfalen is a village and a former municipality in the Tecklenburger Land region of Germany.
Around the centre of the village itself are the farming communities of Bad Steinbeck, Püttenbeck, Mertensberg and Buchholz.
South of Steinbeck lies the Ibbenbürener Bergplatte with the Dickenberg. The Mittelland Canal divides the centre of the village into a southern and a northern part. The Tecklenburg Northern Railway runs through Steinbeck. To the south of the village lies the Buchholz Forest. In the forest area with the mining relic Steinbecker Stollen, a mining nature trail has been created, which allows an insight into the working world of the miner. There is also the Buchholz winding tower, a 14-metre-high observation tower built in 2004.
