Bierenbachtal is a village and a former municipality in the Oberbergischer Kreis, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
Bierenbachtal lies in the northeastern part of the Oberberg municipality of Nümbrecht at an altitude of about 230 to 250 m above sea level. The village stretches along the eponymous valley from the mouth of the Bröl up to the municipal boundary between Nümbrecht and Wiehl in a northwesterly direction and Oberbierenbach in a north-easterly direction. The distance to the town centres of Nümbrecht and Wiehl is about 2 kilometres. Other cities in the vicinity are Gummersbach, Siegen and the Rhineland metropolis of Cologne.
