Herchen-Bahnhof is a village and a former municipality in the Rhein-Sieg district, in Germany. The place used to be called Hammer.
Herchen-Bahnhof has an elevation of 103.829 m above sea level according to the measuring point on the platform. It lies directly on the Sieg, which overcomes a difference in altitude between 94.5 m and 91.1 m above sea level. The highest point of the village between Leuscheid and Nutscheid is at the outside Sommerhof at 198.6 m above sea level. Neighboring to the west is Stromberg, to whose mark the site used to belong. Above the eastern bank of the Sieg lies Werfen. To the north lies the eponymous village of Herchen, which begins on the opposite bank of the Sieg, within sight of the district of In der Au.
