Bokeloh is a village in the municipality of Meppen, in Lower Saxony, Germany. At the end of 2020, it had 1,234 inhabitants, according to the municipality website. The village is located on the river Hase. The name Bokeloh, like that of Boekelo in Twente, means beech forest.
From 1938 to 1941, the painter Otto Pankok retreated to Bokeloh in order to be able to work quietly, undisturbed by the Nazis. There is a small gallery in the village, where an exhibition dedicated to Otto Pankok can be visited.
