Oelinghoven is a village and a former municipality in the Rhein-Sieg district, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It belongs to the Stieldorf district and has grown together with it, on March 31, 2021, Oelinghoven had 1,035 inhabitants.
Oelinghoven adjoins Stieldorf immediately to the south and forms a closed village with it. It lies in the Pleiser Hügelland on a terrain sloping from southwest to northeast with the Pleisbach tributaries Eichenbach and Lauterbach, which converge on the northern edge of Oelinghoven. The village is served by the Landesstraße 83 . The nearest villages include Bockeroth and Düferoth in the east, Stieldorferhohn in the southeast and Vinxel in the west, which reaches up to 250 m from Oelinghoven. The former villages of Winkel am Westenberg and Schnorrenberg on the eastern edge of Oelinghoven are no longer independently named districts.
