Troisdorf-West

Troisdorf-West Troisdorf is one of the twelve districts of Troisdorf, in the district of Rhine-Sieg, in the Bundesland of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

Together with the district of Rotter See, Troisdorf-West is the youngest of the districts of Troisdorf, both established on the occasion of the municipal elections of 1 October 1999 for the municipal council. Until then, Troisdorf-West was part of Troisdorf-Mitte.
A part of the district has taken the name of "Rote Kolonie" (Red Colony), whose houses are protected, as artistic heritage, and restored in 1913.
