Troisdorf-West is een van de twaalf plaatsen van Troisdorf in de Noord-Rijnland-Westfalen Rhein-Sieg-Kreis.
Troisdorf-West is samen met de wijk Rotter See de jongste van de twaalf wijken. Op 1 oktober 1999 besloot de raad van de stad Troisdorf de afsplitsing van de woonwijk uit de plaats Troisdorf en de oprichting van de nieuwe wijk Troisdorf-West.
Troisdorf-West ligt – in tegenstelling tot zijn naam – in het oosten van Troisdorf.
