Alstätte is a village in the municipality of Ahaus, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It is located about ten kilometers northwest of Ahaus, close to the Dutch border.
The village is located on the river Alstätter Aa and borders the Dutch municipalities of Haaksbergen and Enschede. In addition to the village itself, Alstätte includes the six hamlets of Besslinghook, Brinkerhook, Alstätter-Brook, Gerwinghook, Schmäinghook and Schwiepinghook.
