Complex on several islands with outer and main castle, partly surrounded by wide moats, two-wing L-shaped manor house, wide moats
The castle complex originates from the 15th century and presents itself today as a Renaissance structure with Baroque elements from the 17th century. The builders were likely the Lords of Trock and later the Baron von Droste zu Vischering. Their descendants are still in possession of Haus Vorhelm to this day.
