During her journey to Rome in 1654 Queen Christina stayed in the house of Gerdt Werkamp and Ilse Erenstinck at the Koe Thor Straße (nowadays Königstraße) in Minden. The upper floors didn't yet exist at that time. Above the door there are several inscriptions: 'An Gottes Segen ist alles gelegen' (Everything is layed in the blessing of God) and 'Wer Gott Vortrauwet hat wol gebauet' (Who trusts in God did build well) with the year 1644. In the middle the names of the inhabitans Gerdt Werkampf and Ilse Erenstinck.
