The Knechtsteden Forest Nature Reserve is located in the area of the cities of Dormagen and Neuss in the Rhein-Kreis Neuss in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The nature reserve extends west of the core city of Dormagen and southeast of the core city of Neuss. The B 477 runs west of the area and the A 57 to the east.
