City Hall Solingen

The Solingen Town Hall consists of a building ensemble that surrounds the Walter Scheel Square in the Solingen district of Mitte and extends to the east along Cronenberger Straße. It is located north of the Solingen city center and consists of two interconnected buildings at Cronenberger Straße 59/61, known as the WKC building. Attached to this is the so-called Town Hall new building, constructed in the mid-2000s along Merianstraße up to the Walter Scheel Square there. Along Konrad-Adenauer-Straße, there is another new building, the Walter-Scheel-Platz 3, which includes municipal offices as well as commercial spaces and gastronomy. There is also a self-service center of the Solingen City Savings Bank located there.
