The Hülltofter Tief is a roughly 12.6 ha large inland lake located south of the Ruttebüller See. It forms the boundary between the municipalities of Aventoft and Neukirchen near the German-Danish border in the northern part of the Nordfriesland district in Schleswig-Holstein. It is named after the nearby farm Hülltoft. The Tief originated as a result of a dike breach in the 16th century in Gotteskoog, making this lake a depression. The size of the Tief was about 50 ha in 1926, which had reduced to the current 12.6 ha by 1976. The length of the shoreline is 2.1 km. The lake is surrounded by a belt of reeds, which is interrupted by a public bathing area with a sandy beach. It is part of the 892 ha bird sanctuary "Gotteskoog-Gebiet" within the 10,400 ha large Gotteskoogs. To the east of the lake in Seebüll is the Nolde Museum.
