An important milestone for the compressor station (VDS) in Legden has been reached: Both compressor units are now in place. They consist of one gas turbine and one compressor from the manufacturer Solar Turbines each, forming the heart of the VDS Legden.
The machines enable the transport of natural gas through the ZEELINK, but also into the subsequent pipeline 63 towards Werne, for example. This is important for the ongoing conversion from L-gas to H-gas. Furthermore, the facility contributes to the security of supply of natural gas in general.
