The eighth stage of the Badische Wine Cycle Route takes you about 47 km through the Badische Bergstrae wine region. From Wiesloch, the last stage now leads through the Badische Bergstrae wine region to the Hessian border. Before reaching the famous Heidelberg, it passes vineyards and orchards through the wine village of Rohrbach. At Heidelberg Castle, marvel at the 400-year-old large barrel that once held 130,000 liters of wine. We continue through the region, also known as the "Kurpfalz", via Dossenheim, Schriesheim and Hirschberg to the "two castle town" Weinheim (Windeck and Wachenburg) and finally to Laudenbach, the end of the wine cycle route.
