The tranquility, the lonely car-free Fockenbachtal, various long views, a few longer ascents, and a large share of meadow paths enhance this loop. We started at the highest point at the hiking parking lot in Hümmerich and had our fun on the loop. For the length (16 km) and the elevation gain (420 m), it's just right.
