The Bavarian Forest is a low mountain range in Bavaria, Germany. The Bavarian Forest is geographically part of the Bohemian Forest and runs along the border with the Czech Republic. On the Czech side is the Šumava National Park. The Bavarian Forest stretches above Regensburg to Passau.
