In the footsteps of the Counts of Veldenz.

Count Georg Johannes is the most famous descendant of the Counts of Veldenz, also because he married a daughter of King Gustav I of Sweden in 1563. The ancestral history of the Counts of Veldenz is therefore repeatedly thematized in this 14 km long escapade. The former seat of the count, Veldenz Castle with its ruins, can be admired from many viewpoints along the way.
