Hiking enjoyment on 215 kilometers north and south of the Rems: through extensive vineyards and forests, orchards, historic towns and charming villages.

The new RemstalWeg is undoubtedly one of the major highlights of the Remstal Garden Show 2019. Admittedly, the approximately 215-kilometre-long hiking trail is not entirely new. It is made up of the two former trails "Remstal-Höhenweg" and "Remswanderweg". However, the trail network has been significantly revised and sections of the trail have been shortened or rerouted. The starting points of the new RemstalWeg are in Remseck am Neckar or Fellbach, from where it then mostly follows the heights to the north and south of the Remstal valley.

In 10 daily stages, visitors can go on a discovery tour through the diverse landscape of the Rems Valley and get to know the Rems lifeline, which is so important for the region. Hungry hikers are warmly recommended to visit the traditional broom taverns or inns. Lovingly prepared regional dishes and internationally award-winning wines from the Rems Valley await their connoisseurs here. Indulge yourself and explore historic towns such as Waiblingen, Schorndorf, Weinstadt, Lorch or Schwäbisch Gmünd on your tour through the Rems Valley, freshly fortified.
