Möhlwoog Runde

A natural and wooded circular tour through the Bexbach, Jägersburg and Kleinottweiler forests, with the Möhlwoog pond and the Brückweiher pond from Jägersburg as a stopover. You can round off your summer hiking experience at the Hochwiesmühle outdoor pool in Bexbach.

The Möhlwoog loop is a circular hiking trail of approx. 8.3 km in length, which leads along varied paths, through shady wooded areas and past paddocks. The Möhlwoog pond in the middle, one of the Jägersburg ponds, gives the hiking trail its name. Anglers feel particularly at home here. Hikers walking past the Möhlwoog pond should therefore always keep a watchful eye on the shore so as not to hinder the local anglers in their "work". If you would like to take a detour to the other Jägersburg ponds, you can follow the local signs. There are several places to stop for refreshments, a climbing park and the opportunity to go pedal boating at the Brückweiher pond. In the last third of the hike, the tour leads past the "Dicken Eiche" oak tree in Kleinottweiler, where several benches invite you to take a break. Once you reach the hiking parking lot, the Hochwiesmühle outdoor pool invites you to enjoy a refreshing dip on warm summer days.
