With its almost untouched nature and diverse sights, the Hohenlohe Bühlertal is a real insider tip. Natural paths, almost untouched river landscapes, idyllic villages, lovingly restored half-timbered houses and secluded stretches of forest offer hikers a varied landscape. The Bühlertal hiking trail takes you around 72 km from Abtsgmünd to Ilshofen-Eckartshausen.

The Bühlertal valley was created by deep erosion in the surrounding landscape and so the Bühler forms a unit with the surrounding heights. For this reason, the Bühlertalwanderweg trail not only leads along the river, but also over the neighboring heights, which significantly enriches the hike.
