8. Etappe "Uckermärker Landrunde": Biesenbrow - Seehausen, walking tour

Mixed forests alternate with hilly farmland dotted with kettle holes and shrubs. Historic cobbled streets pass through sleepy villages with granite churches, half-timbered houses and village greens. Seehausen is situated between Oberuckersee and Unteruckersee, at the edge of one of Germany’s biggest reed areas.

How to get there: Take a regional or long-distance train from Berlin central station (Hauptbahnhof) to Angermünde (about 1 hour). From here take bus no. 450 or the RufBus operated by Uckermärkische Verkehrsbetriebe (after 6 p.m. and at the weekend) to Biesenbrow (about 1.5 hours).

Return journey: Take the RE3 (Falkenberg) from Seehausen to Berlin central station (Hauptbahnhof) (about 1.5 hours).
