From the Acclaimed Valley to Deep Ravines

Lobetal is just 15 kilometres north east of Berlin in the rural district of Barnim and is the centre of the Hoffnungstaler Stiftung Lobetal foundation. It is a world of its own with pretty architecture, nestled into an inspiring valley surrounded by meadows and forests.
The hiking route is impressive in its diversity. From there, take Bus 869 in the direction of Lobetal to the Lobetal Kirche stop.Car: From Berlin via the A114 and A11 northwards in the direction of Prenzlau / Szczecin (Stettin) to the junction for Bernau – North. Continue on via Wandlitzer Chaussee and the B2 to Rüdnitz. This circular hike begins in the village of Lobetal, first leading to the Biesenthaler Becken nature conservation area before you come to the highlights of the tour, namely the Hellmühler Fließ river and Lanke Castle.
From October to March, this route is ideally suited to hiking with a dog as you can enjoy it fairly stress-free.
