Around Lake Bötzsee

From the tram stop Schlagmühle, first walk along the railway tracks and turn left onto Garzauer Straße. Follow the road out of Strausberg and cross the busy bypass road. Continue along Altlandsberger Chaussee until turning right onto Hauptweg. The path leads through the small settlement area Postbruch into beautiful nature. From here, follow the marking 7 along the shore of Lake Bötzsee. Passing by large and small bathing areas, the path winds through a shady mixed forest to the northern tip of the lake. Along the Spitzmühlenweg, you reach the western shore. The path sometimes runs close to the shore, then again halfway up through the forest, where you can still find pure nature. Soon you will approach the barrier-free beach at Bötzsee, which invites you to refresh in the cool water with its splendid sandy beach.
