Circular path around Lake Löhmer House

The path leading around Lake Löhmer is approximately five kilometers long and completely signposted. Six information boards provide information about the flora, fauna, and the ecological value of the natural area you are passing through.The surface area of the lake is approximately 45 hectares, with the western part consisting of a shallow water zone of 20 hectares. This is followed by a large wetland area, characterized mainly by pedunculate oaks, willow growth, alders, large reed areas, and adjacent fields. A large number of breeding birds find protection and habitat in the reed belt.
