Cycling Route Spreeradweg - along the River Spree from Saxony to Berlin

The Spree Cycle Path leads from the sources of the Spree in Saxon Upper Lusatia, accompanying the course of the river through Brandenburg to the outskirts of Berlin. After a visit to the Lausitz metropolis of Cottbus, you can roll comfortably through the approx. 1,000 hectare Peitzer pond landscape - into the magic of the Spreewald. After a stroll through the historic town center of Beeskow, cyclists reach the Kersdorfer lock after a dam between the Spree and the Oder-Spree Canal. Alternatively the start can be made in the Spree headwaters in the Lausitzer Bergland in Saxony, about 100 km south-east of Spremberg.
