Through the idyllic landscape of the Uckermark region. This 302-kilometre circular cycle route shows you a cross-section of the countryside and culture of Uckermark, one of Germany’s most sparsely populated regions. If you start in Angermünde, for example, the route takes you via Templin, Lychen, Feldberg, Prenzlau and Schwedt/Oder. The highlights of the tour include the Old Town of Angermünde, the NABU-Nature Experience Centre at Blumberger Mühle, the town of Templin with its historic town centre and the thermal brine spa , Lychen, the town between the seven lakes, the Dominican monastery in Prenzlau and the Vierraden tobacco museum.
Route signage: The route marking is a stylised bicycle with the “Uckermark-Smiley”.
Trail conditions/surface: Most of the cycle route is well-maintained and signposted.
