The rafting town of Lychen is surrounded by 7 lakes as if on an island. From the water, the city can be experienced from a completely unique perspective. Crystal-clear water and natural shores invite you to a leisurely canoe tour. Those seeking the tranquility of nature head south to Zenssee, then reach the idyllic Platkowsee. The left bank is a nature reserve, and getting off the canoe is not allowed here! You paddle the same route back, but not all the way to the starting point at Oberpfuhlsee, instead to the pier at the portage site at Schäferwiese. There, the canoe must be carried over the road to Stadtsee. Depending on your condition, you can then decide whether to turn right into the smaller lakes Nesselpfuhl and Wurlsee or paddle straight into the large Lychensee, from whose southwest bank the tranquil river Woblitz branches off. From Nesselpfuhl, the boat can be brought back with a boat trolley to the starting point at Oberpfuhl.Distance / Duration: 15 km (1 day)Depending on your mood and condition, the tour can be varied from 5 km to about 25 km.Start / Finish: Oberpfuhlsee LychenArrival Departure: Public transport: From Berlin Hauptbahnhof with the RE5 (Rostock) to Fürstenberg / Havel.
