Beautiful circular hiking trail through mixed forest past several springs and fountains. There are two small ponds in the valley where you can rest and stop for refreshments!
The short circular tour leads past various fountains and springs to the Peterseiche natural monument, an ancient giant tree. Hikers shouldn't be afraid if they hear the occasional eerie crack in the forest, as some forest spirits and goblins such as the "Butterhut" or the "Permes" are said to be up to mischief here in the Kirkel forests.
