For young explorers and discoverers! On the robber trail, visitors experience an exciting circular hike over hill and dale. Many interactive stations for young and old robbers lead hikers through the red sandstone area in the Kirkel forest.

The new robber trail in Kirkel-Neuhäusel is designed to offer families with children in particular an exciting "hands-on fairy tale" hike.

From the beginning in the forest, the trail reaches the water rocks, which constantly release dripping water in summer and winter. Geologists refer to this as a stratified spring. The water rocks are particularly attractive on frosty days when the water that gushes out freezes into slender, meter-long icicles. From up here, you can enjoy a magnificent view over the village and Kirkel Castle.

The path continues to the Frauenbrunnen, a well-known, mystical spring that is believed to have served as a place of worship for the Celts - another reason why the Romans and knights once liked it here.
