Description by the author

The tour to romantic half-timbered villages, idyllic natural monuments and medieval castles takes you past seven historical museums.

The museum cycle trail in the Elsenztal valley leads through the gently undulating hills of the Kraichgau region, past fruit trees and meadows, forests and fields. The route is ideal for an excursion with the whole family due to the few inclines, the asphalted paths and the manageable length. A Sunday between spring and fall, when all the museums are open, seems perfect for such a journey into the past.
